Effectiveness: Does the method actually reduce slipperiness?

Non-Slip is not a topical coating that can wear off, but a clear penetrating sealer that produces a slip resistive environment on the the floor or bathtub surface rendering the surface highly slip-resistant – guaranteed! Other products such as mats wrinkle and fold over, creating a trip hazard themselves; they are also unsanitary because of the moisture and dirt they hold and are very costly to maintain.

Protection: Does the product seal the tile and grout?

Yes. The tile and grout are sealed, preventing contaminants and bacterial growth from penetrating the surface - making it safer, sanitary, and easy to maintain, while prolonging the natural appearance and life of the floor.

Integrity: Does the product alter the structure of the tile?

Non-Slip does not damage the surface in any way. We pre-test a sample area before applying the slip-resistive treatment. The end result is a customized, exclusive process for each type of floor surface. Some products such as pure acid etching, permanently damage the floor surface and leave it susceptible to stains, dirt, grime and bacterial growth.

Durability: How long will the treatment last and is it guaranteed?

The treatment will last for years. We provide a four year written warranty.

Down Time: Is there any down time to my establishment?

Non-Slip is usually applied at your convenience, meaning when your regular business hours are over. In to-day´s world with businesses operating 24/7, we can still work around your clients, as there are no toxic fumes or hazardous waste considerations. Average installation time is 1 ½ hrs. per 500 sq. The treated surface may be used as soon as it has completely dried.

Maintenance: Is there any special maintenance required?

An appropriate cleaner/degreaser and a regular cleaning schedule is all that is required.
